New! You can now get CPR and AED certified at select clubs. Build practical skills, earn an official American Red Cross certification, and gain the confidence to support your community wher it matters most.
Classes are available to members for a fee and offered at select clubs and times. Please log into Connect to see if your club is eligible. Because when you know how to help, you're not just prepared-you're empowered.
How It Works:

Come into the Club for your in-person, instructor-led training.

At every Bay Club property, we maintain AED machines throughout the club and all Bay Club Associates complete annual CPR and AED certification. Your safety is our top priority – we’re committed to ensuring a secure and comfortable experience, whether you’re relaxing poolside or taking a class at your home club.

You can enroll through your Bay Club Connect App.
Go to Group Classes → select the Learning Center series → choose your preferred class date. The date you select in Connect will be your in-person skills assessment date.
The class fee is $50.00, payable directly through your Bay Club Connect account using your saved payment information.
This is a two-part certification course:
Online Learning: Complete the required American Red Cross training online before attending your in-person session. This portion typically takes 2-3 hours.
In-Person Skills Assessment: Complete this 1.5-hour practical session held on the date you selected in your Bay Club Connect App.
Once you sign up for the class through your Bay Club Connect account, you will receive an email from your GX Director within 30-days of the class date. This will include a link to the American Red Cross site.
You will be asked to create an account with their Learning Center ( First/Last Name and Email).
Once entered, you will received a “registration complete” pop up and create a password for your account.
Your username is your email address. Once logged in, it will automatically direct you to the “Classes I am Taking” page where you can click into the content and begin the training. If you move away from this page, to get back, click on Classes → Class I am Taking.
The skills assessment allows you to practice and demonstrate what you learned in the online training. You’ll perform key lifesaving skills such as:
- Adult and Pediatric CPR
- Choking response
- First Aid procedures
- Full-scene reenactments
The in-person session will take place in the studio listed at your selected Bay Club location. Please check your Connect App for details.
Please bring the following items to your class:
Required:
- Proof of completion of your American Red Cross online training (a screenshot showing your name and completion page, or your official completion certificate).
Recommended:
- Water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Comfortable clothing suitable for performing physical activities.
All PPE equipment will be provided to you to use during the class.
After successfully completing the skills assessment, your results will be submitted to the American Red Cross.
Within two weeks, you’ll receive your official certification directly to the email address associated with your Bay Club Connect account.
If you don’t receive your certificate within two weeks, please contact your GX Director for assistance.
Your certification is valid for two years. You’re welcome to recertify at The Bay Club once it’s nearing expiration.
You can retrieve and download your certification anytime using the Red Cross “Find My Certificate” tool: https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/digital-certificate
You’ll need your email address, or your name and completion date (month/year) to locate your record.
Please refer to your clubs class information on who to contact for accommodation on bringing non members to the skills assessment.
