Racquetball
Featuring both indoor and outdoor courts plus a team of certified racquetball professionals, we take pride in our racquetball program. Whether you’ve been playing for years or are just starting out, we offer a full menu of racquetball clinics, private lessons, in-house leagues, tournaments, and more.
Programs
There is something for everyone within our racquetball programs. Please note, the below programs are found at Bay Club Pleasanton, which offers eight indoor courts.
Our active and competitive league program features early morning singles, lunchtime round robins, evening singles, and doubles leagues. Leagues run year-round and include all levels of playing ability.
– AM Singles: Begins in January, April & September with a 6:00 am start time, $25/member
– Wed Evening Singles: Begins in January, May & September from 5:00-9:00 pm, $30/member
– Doubles League: Runs year round, days vary with season, $20/member

Private lessons are available for members (must be at least 7 years old) by appointment with a certified racquetball professional instructor: Bobby Horn, Elaine Dexter, Pablo Fajre or Ken Stone.

The Adult Racquetball Clinic is a great introduction to the fast-paced game of racquetball. The clinic includes game rules, equipment use, basic technique, and strategies. All equipment is provided and is held the first Tuesday of each month from 7:00-8:00 pm. The clinic is complimentary to members; members may drop-in, no sign-up necessary.
The Junior Racquetball Clinic is held designated Saturday or Sunday afternoons and is intended for for beginner, advanced beginners, and intermediate players, ages 7-18. Youth will learn valuable skills, techniques, and strategies as well as be encouraged to play in local Junior tournaments. For the more serious Junior players, instructors assist with training for State and National competitions. Our bustling Junior program boasts several Junior and National state medalists. The clinic is complimentary to members; members may drop-in, no sign-up is necessary.
Get into the swing of outdoor racquetball doubles played during the spring and summer months. An annual outdoor tournament is hosted every August and is open to both members and non-members. The tournament includes lunch and prizes.
