Vinyasa means ‘flow’, offering a fluid, moving practice for the student who prefers a dynamic yoga class with a flowing series as a foundation. Vinyasa yoga is a fluid experience of yoga moving from asana to asana on the breath, with time for more challenging yoga postures towards the end of the class, finishing with a final relaxation.

This focuses on 4 basic postures we all find ourselves in every single day: standing, walking, sitting and lying down AKA sleeping. We will examine the proper alignment that the body should be in during those 4 postures. In addition, we will reinforce good posture cues by doing small exercise movements, so we can encourage correct muscle memory. This class is friendly to all people of various physical backgrounds.

For a twist on your exercise routine, you can’t beat the refreshing challenge of cross-training in water. Enjoy a fun, cardiovascular and strength training workout in the warmth and comfort of water. The non-impact exercises are great for people with any knee, low back or joint discomfort. But just because this class is low impact, don’t think it’s less work! You’re guaranteed to get your heart rate up and burn plenty of calories. All levels are welcome in these complimentary classes.
